Dec. 27th, 2019 09:45 pmYay, overnight trip to Aquarium a success! Headed out yesterday noon, got there ~3pm, went in for 2 hours, had Korean food for dinner, then this morning went to the butterfly place, went in for another 2 hours, then stopped by a used records shop for J to do some browsing, go home at 3pm.
Was able to drop Rutabaga off with my parents from 3-6pm and ... it's kind of amazing how nice it felt to just have a couple hours where neither of us were "on", and only had to deal with logistics for ourselves. One week down, another to go.
Anyway, I queued up my 2 fics to post, so yay! (Actually, because I have no chill, I pretended I was on east coast time and posted one already.) The other will post on the 31st. And just now I finished the yellow cat hat that I was knitting for Rutabaga while watching the first 2 episodes of Castlevania, so yay for that, too. Which means what's left is grading. (On the one hand, poot. On the other hand, I feel like I've built up enough procrastination energy to actually tackle it.)
