Oct. 20th, 2019 12:35 amhad an idea that I want to develop a bit more, but putting it here for the time being:
instead of being like "omg we're going to hit 2 degrees global warming in 10 years which means that we only have 10 years to fix things", maybe think of it as "okay, if the world stops using fossil fuels in 2030, what will you do now?" Start with accepting the end condition and then figure out how to adapt. With that premise, rooftop solar suddenly feels a lot more important. Figuring out alternative ways of work. Figuring out alternative energy propulsion sources.
