Jul. 14th, 2019 10:32 pmOn Saturday, Hoosband was like "hey, I'm tired of just working next to you instead of doing something with you. Let's dust off that Doctor Companion rpg that we wanted to design!"
So on Saturday we worked out some basic rules, and today we did our first playtest. It definitely had its awkward moments, at the places where the game needs structure, but overall it was surprisingly fun! We went to a mining planet where creatures were sucking people into the rock as the drills spiraled towards the center. It felt like a decent mid-season one-shot. :) And then tonight I added a bit more structure and some other bits and pieces. Can't wait for our next try at playtesting! If it works out, it'll be a fun 2-player 1-2 hour rpg that I can do with Hoosband.
( Monday to-do list, since it's the only way to keep me on track )
