Jul. 12th, 2019 11:59 amThe past few weeks I kind of fell into a bad sleep cycle, where I'm like "oh, let me just stay up to 1 or 2am reading fic, that's kind of like resting, and tomorrow's not a work day." And then I'd wake up at 7:30, get the child to daycare at ~9:30am, get home at 10am, putz around, and then ... nap from noon-3pm, thus ruining my chance at lunch, and wasting 3 hours of prime non-baby time besides.
And then I realized / remembered: YOU CAN'T CHEAT SLEEP
So these past 2 days I've been going to bed before midnight like a sane person, and have had much better executive functioning and zero naps during the day! Huzzah!
I'm now officially done with my MTH obligations, which is: yay!
I think my brain has reached the stage of the summer where it's like "hey.... I wanna teeeeach" cause I've had a bunch of teaching dreams in the last few days -- dreams where I lesson plan, dreams where I teach, dreams where I am meeting with other teachers...
Anyway, today is primarily an inking day. I really want to get Rutabaga finished by Aug 1.
