China Day 1

Yesterday we flew in at around noon. The ANA lunch on the plane ride between Japan and China was appropriately ... Bibimbap. Jono was really tired, so we spent the afternoon and evening napping and finishing Venture Brothers Season 3.
Current state of the Great Chinese Firewall:
Wikipedia and Facebook are down, but Livejournal is up. I don't know how I feel about having the other half of my online life curtailed...
This morning, Dad and Jono went downstairs and bought yummy breakfast food. Then after breakfast, Jono pushed me around in a wheelchair, and we followed Dad around to neighborhood and to our nearby park to buy train tickets. I think Jono was suitably impressed. :D
We have plans to go to the Shanghai history museum in the basement of 东方明珠, and also 朱家角, a sleepy canal town close to my grandparents' resting place. Other than that we're taking it pretty easy.
