Wedding Plans, take 2
Mar. 30th, 2009 09:56 amWe changed the date so that more of Jono's family can show up! Also, we moved the family-only wedding itself to Friday so that we can spend all Saturday partying!
So, the updated info:
Friday, June 26th
Get married at San Mateo County Chapel
(They only allow reservations 1 month in advance. Poo! On the other hand, they have a webcam function, so voyeurs welcome!)
Saturday, June 27th
Picnic -- potlucky fun times for friends and family. I'm guessing 20-30 people.
Dinner -- Giant Round Chinese Tables where everyone obligatory is present for feasting and revelry. It looks to be 4 tables, or 40-50 people.
Karaoke -- The posse that is up for karaoke head over to good ol' Gamba for singing and debauchery (I think family might have to retreat from our drunkenness.) I'm guessing 10-20 people.
Presents:
As said before, presents not obligatory.
Created/Participatory presents welcome!
- if you make a pie for the picnic potluck, that's your present!
- if you take awesome photos of our celebrations, that's your present!
- if you tell a ridiculous story during dinner time that makes us laugh, that's your present!
- if you give a speech in a foreign language and we're all bewildered and impressed, that's your present!
Yay!
Crash-space:
Figuring out crash-space is important for those coming in from out-of-town.
Anyone who needs some should comment/email! (sushux at gmail)
