Jul. 28th, 2001 08:33 pmUgh... forgot today was Chinese school day when rudely awakened at 7:30. (Okay, you who wake up at 5 every morning out there can laugh, but 7:30 is a might early for a jet-lagged pissy Sushu) And then after we get back I got to walk my brother over to the Art Center where he gets to develop his oh-so-mighty art talent by drawing non-perspectived pictures of trees using pastels and charcoal and all the good stuff.
I feel old. Ugh. People keep on asking, "what college are you going to?" "Aren't you graduating in a year?" Gah... too soon. My parents are like, "Make sure you get into a UC, so that we can afford it. If you get into Stanford and Berkeley, you're going to Berkeley. If you get into Foothill and Stanford, we'll spring for the extra money and get you into Stanford." So I guess it's quite pointless for me to apply to anything private and out-of-state unless it's happily coated in ivy. Woo.
Why do people insist that Sirius is one big hottie? I'm sure he's handsome and all that, but for heavens' sake, he's Harry's father's age, (at least 30), he's been trapped in a prison for the past 10+ years, he's been described as gaunt with deep-sunk eyes (living off of rats), so why do people still draw him like this?
Heehee.... trying to see if I can find Stanford Chinese School online. If I can, I have to take out a page that would be a homework cheat. Okay, it's like the seventh one down on Google, so I'll just rename it. ~_^ (Speaking of webbies, I should really get down to it. I'm trying to decided the colors. My instinct is lavender, but I've done that already. I've used Darkblue on CreamYellow, Green/Orange on white, lavender/light blue on white.... Don't think I want a Red one. Maybe a darker purple with marroon as second tier. Any suggestions?)
