Mar. 30th, 2021 11:22 pm- Spouse failed at writing 3 bullet points but wrote a whole blog post instead, so I'm really excited that he's managed to push past his writer's block, huzzah! (Also, I like this 3 bullet point idea, so I'm going to do this for a few days and see how I feel)
- Finally finished a super rough draft of the Sam POV sequel to the competent Bucky fic, so yay! What's left is the hard part of reading through again and making the words actually convey meaning. Bleh, writing is hard and I'm such a perfunctory writer. (As in, it's pretty obvious that the only reason I write is to get the idea out of my head so that I can move on with my life. I care nary a whit about things like establishing a mood or describing a setting. I wish I did, but then it'd take more time to excise the fic from my brain.) Also, I'm a bit worried that there's no plot or dramatic tension or anything, it's just fluff plus an action scene. (But I really want my SamSteveBucky endgame so...) But whatever. I have a self-imposed Apr 1 deadline, so that's what I'll shoot for (although maybe I'll end up aiming for Apr 4.)
- awww crappo just remembered that I promised the school newspaper some arts. I actually have 2 of the 3 drawn, but gotta finish my 3rd one tomorrow, whoops
