Soliciting more Tisquantum update opinions

Thanks for the feedback! LJ user satyreyes has volunteered to be a beta reader, so yay on that front!
I've registered tisquantumcomic.com and am squatting on tisquantumcomic.tumblr.com.
Tumblr is good with keeping tumblr-verse updated on the comic, but (a) it automatically resizes larger images, so I'm worried most pages would be too small, and (b) its archive management ability is really lacking.
So I think I'm going to have the website as the home base, and then post updates on tumblr (and maybe even twitter??).
This leads to 2 minor questions:
1) What should I do with the existing pages? Options:
(a) Post it all on the new website as the "archive." Pros: it's all there anyway, people can "archive binge" a bit and then subscribe to the rss. Cons: they'd immediately suffer the binge/trickle transition pain.
(b) Post 1 pg each weekday until caught up with archive (4 weeks!), then shift to 1 pg a week. Pros: Less binge/trickle transition pain, plus I can do a few minor tweaks along the way, as well as doing historical notes right. Cons: Y'all have read it already, right?
2) What should be my update day? Jono is definitely updating Mondays. Maybe I should do Wed or Thurs? (Why are there so few comics that have a Tues/Thurs update schedule?) Is there a major difference between having a Wed update vs. a Thurs update?
