Jul. 16th, 2010 06:15 pmAnd at uncle's. Turns out we should stay here anyway. Huzzah! Shanghai has added more subway lines when I wasn't looking. Now there's a subway directly from Hongqiao airport. Huzzah! Uncle has also prepared phones for Jono and me. Huzzah!
In other notes, I *love* the Kindle that I got a week before the trip -- not only is it excellent for reading (was able to read many books on the train and plane without having to deal with the weight and volume of the books), but *global wireless* is pretty awesome, too. Sure, it's slow as heck, but it's still *global wireless*. I'd gotten it because of the price drop to $189, and I must say, totally worth it.
