Friday night's potluck was quite successful. Lots of yummy food was made/brought and consumed. Dorky history games were played. There were 13 people in total, so we were able to have a proper sit-down dinner. I will mark its success by the fact that they are clamoring for a second one (which someone else will host)

Saturday I hung out with Carrie, and then I hung out with Jeremy. Both very good things.

Sunday was Chinese School.

I've had a rather muted week. The kind where I am slightly sniffly, very sleepy at random hours of the day, beset by occasional headaches, and overall feeling on the border of illness.

One big thing was that Tuesday night I went to talk to that public charter school a little more, and it began to feel like a private (religious-based) school pretending to be a public school, which is slightly disconcerting.

Still no calls from other places that want me. Poo.

A mysterious number has called me several times, but calling back once got me some Spanish-speaking people once, and now doesn't get me anything. 305-482-0191 ... does that ring a bell to anyone? I suspect it's one of those calling card things. Grrr.... I hope it's not a school trying to contact me and failing numerous times. I also hope it's not scary stalky people trying to, um... stalk me..?

But yeah, I hate this low-energy thing. Hopefully this means next week will be better.
