The weekend has been relatively pleasant (typo: present).
Friday night I went with Kim up to Argyle and had beef-filled Vietnamese food. After getting back, I puttered around and did various stuff, wrote a long email to Alexis, worked on CGU, watched some WestWing with Clara, and was about to turn in at 2am when Isaac came on, so we chatted and made plans for the [livejournal.com profile] cgublog. When when I was about to turn in at 3:30-ish, Alexis came on, so we chatted for a bit, before I turned off the light to sleep. Except that by then I'd already missed the first sleep cycle, so while I was physically tired, I was mentally very alert, so I wrote a skit idea to calm myself down. ^^;
Saturday was Mitsuwa Trip. Everyone was supposed to meet at 10am. I woke up at 10:00 exactly. >_<;; But thankfully Aza-time is a bit later than Sushu-time, so all was well. Bought lots of food! And a gallon of soy sauce. And Doraemon gummies. After a nice nap at home, I met up with J+C to go to the International Food Festival. We got there barely in time to taste about 50% of the menu. The polish meat pierogies were really good. After we met up with Pren, we went off to watch Kentucky Fried Movie, which, like Ebichu, has some moments of absolute hilarity, and some moments of absolute awkwardness. Never have I seen so many boobs... in the wrong way. >_< I knitted and worked on the comic meanwhile (shaded page 1, inked page 2), and got home after 2am to find that there was not one, but 2 massive birthday parties in our apartment building. o.O;; But yay sleep

Today, I woke up at the awesome hour of 11:50, finished shading page 2, went to the library and scanned, updated, and blogged. Yes, blogged. Because CGU has a blog now. * People should friend it so that I can pester you whenever I update. On the other hand, if you don't want to hear about CGU ever again, don't add the blog. I'll try my best to keep all CGU-related stuff there and not here.

Oh, and yesterday was Jono's b-day. :D

Off!

------------
* Sure, it's still LJ-based, but I consider it a blog because it's a much more publicly oriented place than this place here. This be a journal, that be a blog.

In case anyone was under the illusion that calling me is faster, it's not.
- my phone is either: in my coat pocket (60%), on the nightstand (30%), or charging (10%).
- my coat is either: off (50%), on but far enough from my body as to not sense the vibrations (25%), on but with my hand in the pocket so I can feel the phone (25%)
So chances of me hearing/sensing the phone is 15%. Plus I'm often in class when that happens, which knocks it down to 10%.

Now if you send me an email...
- I check my email at least 3 times a day.
- I'll read the subject line (100%), the gmail snippet (95%), and the email itself (80% if not from mailing lists).

Now, recently I just made mistaked a "reply to me" email for an informational email, but usually I'm pretty good about these things. The speed of the reply is inversely corollated to the amount of effort involved in the reply, both in thinking time, schedule clearing time, and typing time.

Oh wait, my phone is on silent for some reason. No wonder it's been especially futile today. ^^;;
