... seems to have become a trend. OMG am I that busy?

Lessee, Saturday's Sakura-watching party was teh fab! I drew Sakura trees and Sakura people and put them on the wall. Also cut out pretty sakura flowers and petals that Brian put up. Made tentacle upon Cat's demand, and Hot Tentacle was much fun. The food was awesome in its foodiness and in its non-effortness (yay Subway and Pocky!) We raffled off lotsa cool swag, and everyone was happy. And Pat's cool cause he plays go and bought lotsa raffle tickets. Go us! The Sakura-people wall pictures were raffled off, but the trees remain for another day! (And I've discovered that drawing anime people from sample images = teh easy. Perhaps I should draw some big ones and sell them for money?)

Saturday night we watched more anime. Specifically, Detective Conan and a few eps of Hikaru that I'd missed. :D

I've also been drawing pictures, but have been debating various layout stuff. Will need to discuss wit' mah peeps on Wed!

Sunday, I hot-potted with Kim in Chinatown in honor of her b-day, then came home, watched some more Hikaru, and then went on my dinner-movie-study date with Joanne (Young Willem Dafoe = teh hawt in Platoon. Movie itself wasn't that great), and I spent the rest of the night adding punctuation to Chinese texts. Good Stuff, yo.

Oh, going back... Friday I went w/ Prof. Alitto to see these Montessori folks who wanted to teach Chinese that way, and we chatted about the do's and don'ts, and I saw the remaining bit of Little Italy and learned about the connectedness of the Italians in this great city of ours.

Und that's all, folks! If I remember [livejournal.com profile] conejita's comic url, I'd totally be pimpin' it right now.... Ah, here's a page... http://mandatoryexplosions.com/carrie/misplaced/ And there's some earlier pages somewhere.... Carrie? help?

Oh! Remembered what I did on Wednesday and Thursday. They weren't *total* black holes... Wednesday night we ended club (the one with a toal of 4 members) early and hopped over to the North Side on Jeremy's swankin' ride to watch Serenity. Well, we had the amazingly awesome plantain nachos + cheese + jerk chicken strips thing at Calypso's first. But the movie was very enjoyable. Solid plot, good characterization, inobtrusive special effects, and newbie-friendly. Don't need to say anything else b/c anyone who wanted to see it have already done so.

Thursday night I painted Sakura and attended various Meetings of tedious nature.

Oh, Jim remains in possession of the Rose Bride. Wonder who the challenger shall be this week?
