From Monday:

Well, the stupid slides won't get done until 4pm Thursday.

But yesterday marked the end of the Chinese School summer quarter. After the testing and whatnot, went over to Pacifica and watched 2046 with eptified. I was dubious at first b/c Wang Kar Wai is known for artsy but plotless films. This one, though, was v. pretty, but not excessively so (not the lookit me! kind, just omg! kind), and had some sort of plot... maybe. At least enough to tie the pieces together and, y'know, attempt to mean something. And, like, 3 spoken languages are used, and the background music was in random other languages like Spanish.



From Today:

Dude! I like, totally woke up after noon today! That hasn't happened ... most of the year! Guess I was tired from all the running around of the weekend. But now... there's supposedly stuff to do..... I think...

whelp, finally made it through LJ.... missing days = lots of catchup reading. Interestingly, useless_facts had two entries that reminded me of my Chi-town folks... specifically, the one about General Tso's Chicken

And I've been playing Planarity off and on... currently on level 6.

ah hah! finally figured out how to play planarity! 8 min for level 10. booyah!

... okay, too much planarity. Now when I close my eyes I'm dragging little circles around. It's so mind-numbing... but 10 min for level 12...
