I've been watching Gokusen, and it's just so entertaining! The yakuza are hilarious, all tearing up and being all honorable and stuff. And there's like... 4 of them. XD. I read some episode summaries of the dorama, and they're ... quite different, in how plot unfolds and how characters are developed. And I'm guessing the random pseudo-talking dog* isn't in the dorama. It would make an interesting study of the effect of the medium and the audience on a story. And yes, totally heart the ending sequence, with its woodcut-like frames.

In other news, I held Kelly's doll, Hana, yesterday, and she was so cuddly! And the dress was so cute! Man, totally want one now. Except for, you know, the utterly pointless expense of it all. ^^;;

In related news, getting up at 7am and the 2 hour communte to the SF Jewish Community Center was worth it! The lecture on Neolithic stuff was *really good*, and covered both artsy stuff and art history stuff. :D

[edit] Man, I just visited Worth1000 out of the blue! It's v. gratifying to see that the same ppl are still there. (Not like I knew them or anything... but meowza's art has gotten even better.)
