Nov. 25th, 2004 08:22 pmAh, Thanksgiving. So today I went over to Yuan's house for a Thanksgiving lunch, and then spent time afterward chatting with Yuan and playing with Amanda. Left around 5:30 to come home to ... three sleepy cats.
Yesterday we had an early Thanksgiving dinner with Jono and Brian, and I made an apple pie! Alexis the magical made duck with stuffing, cranberry sauce, smashed potatoes with gravy, and a pumpkin pie in the time it took me to make apple pie. <^_^;; It was exciting. We also watched Finding Nemo and Labrynth (it's cool how all those things existed... in non-digital format...)
And Chicago didn't fail to give us a white Thanksgiving. (yay!)
It's nice to spend a night to myself...
Hee.... I've stolen Cat's Ever After to watch. (quite witty and enjoyable, despite the ultimate fairytale ending.)
Some things to do:
- get gift-wrapping paper
- figure out some final gifties for the requisite peoples, probably at Navy Pier.
- write email to Weber, do work for other classes
- buy shoes that cover my toes and don't have heels and have good grip in ice.
