Mar. 20th, 2004 06:33 pmThere's something oddly pleasing with reading "Aliens Enter the Conversation" (linked from Neil's blog) with the lovely background music coming from Kim's room. It was a nice afternoon in Chinatown, with dimsum, browsing the Chinatown library and getting a Library Card like a giddy 7-year-old so that I can check out a Confucian comic, an old romance tale, and a random martial arts novel by the man who tried to blend GuLong and JingYong and almost succeeded. But didn't. We looked through lots of gift shops, and got a headdress thing from northwest China, then got a strawberry freeze and managed to scare away the sun, making the pleasant 60 drop to a windy 45. And now we're home, Kim will be cooking dinner in about half an hour, I've taken out the trash (feeling remarkably limber and uncumbered by a coat), and LJ is open happily before me, with no sign of school work and many plans for the week ahead.
