finally, I've been able to check all my email, catch up with LJ-reading, and chat with people. ::contented sigh::
In case people haven't figured it out yet, internet = very very difficult at home.
1) dial-up
2) home phone is also Stanford Chinese School phone, so 8am-10pm is reserved for phone calls, not internet. (believe me, I've tried getting up early)
3) no phone jack in my room, so have to be on battery time while online
4) my fault, but I've been experimenting with php (just minor, non-db stuff), which requires me to take advantage of every minute online to upload and debug.
( So what have I been doing? )
July 3 Fireworks at Stanford. I will probably be on the Oval staking out a spot for my family and whomever they're inviting (currently: Mr.Stanford-Math Genius-Tokien/Poetry aficionado's family, and son of Chinese school teacher), so if anyone is going into the amphitheatre for the concert or bumming the fireworks show like us, feel free to stop by! The concert is at 7:30, the fireworks should be around 10pm.
And though I'm no gamer, I voted for Link today. Mm.... taste the Link-pimpiness. http://www.gamefaqs.com/ Though I'm sure people like Jeanne, etc, might appreciate the multitude of FF chars that are also in competition. So yeah... more pimpage. I guess I'll stop by whenever I remember. Tomorrow: Pikachu vs. Fox McCloud. And then it's Tidus vs. Ganondorf. ... Yuuna vs. Knuckles? XD.
