Jun. 27th, 2021 11:14 pmI've made it back from a week at the in-laws! Hopefully none of us got sick.
Things I want to blog slightly more about:
- takeaways from the DEI institute I attended
- omg different norms re: COVID in Chicago
- how much I love Joy Yee's boba
But the child is home with us today because we're waiting on COVID test results before we can send her back to preschool. (We did a Binax antigen test while in Chicago -- was very fast and reasonably priced -- $25 for 2. However it's not a PCR test. I ordered a Lucira test, which is an at-home PCR test that seems pretty exciting, although also full of plastic waste, so I think just having one on hand would be sufficient.)
Spouse will watch Child for a bit this afternoon, during which I hope to:
- lay out book covers and make a video while doing one so that the actual person knows how to do them next time and it's not stuck on me
- download, organize, and re-upload PPT files
- 4pm: meet with K by the pool to discuss outdoor movie screen
Also, a general hope:
- go through the heap of junk in the dining area so that our house is less of a pile
