(no subject)

I kind of intellectually knew it was going to happen, but the news that schools will remain closed until at least May 1st (and probably more likely to the end of the school year) has really hit me hard. I... I can't function with 3 more months of trying to work while Rutabaga is at home. Days right now are just *that* much more filled with demands on logistics and emotional labor (right now, J and I are each working ~6 hours, watching Rutabaga for ~3 hours, plus ~2 hours of lunch/dinner logistics, plus 2 more hours of pre-bedtime play), that it's also adversely affected our carefully carved out 2 hours of post-bedtime decompressing time. So much harder to do any sort of work, either work-related or creative. augh. Which means that I've been procrastinating by playing Stardew Valley, which Makes It Worse. It's also been harder to hold logistics and todos in my brain. Bleh.

Also: I'm so tired of being hunched over a screen.

Anyway, self, you need to stop this Stardew Valley thing and find time to actually *work* on stuff. Here's a todo list:

- download and process all of the Chinese School homework files
- do payroll for Chinese School
- write email to HOA about EV charging doc
- get back to doing art after bedtime instead of playing Stardew Valley
