So:
- the operation on Tuesday was really successful -- the neck lump was benign, and even though it was attached to my facial nerve, they were able to remove it successfully, so now I'm minus one lump and still smiling! :D
- it's been hard for me to sleep during this recovery -- the slanted angle makes it rough, but I've been trying my best.
- the last few days have been a lot of swelling around my ear, but yesterday it finally started draining and now it's starting to feel better. I've also reached the awkward stage where everything is itchy.
- also starting about an hour ago it's been... contracting? Anyway, that's apparently a good sign, but I need to make sure it doesn't make my face too tight to move or something.
- today I've started eating mostly normal! Yay!
