So, 2 weeks ago I hit my head against the car door frame while getting out, and re-triggered my concussion, which was... not great. That was a Saturday night, so I spent Sunday and Monday resting, and then only made it in for my classes on for the rest of the week. By Friday I was feeling pretty good. Then that Sunday morning, I jiggled my head a bit too rapidly while bending down to do something with the baby, and ended up needing emergency napping for ~3 hours, but that ended up mostly okay.

Then I spent the next week just doing normal stuff. Then on Friday night, I re-jiggered my head *again*, and it was like I lost all of the recovery I did for 2 weeks, and was back to "sleeping all day". So I spent Saturday and Sunday resting up, and then went to school on Monday. Except that it was worse that that first Tuesday 2 weeks ago. So I slept in Tuesday, went in to school, taught 3 classes, and then told school that I was taking Wed-Fri off, and I've been trying to rest my head ever since.

Basically I wake up in the morning around 7am to prep stuff to send the baby to daycare with my parents, and then go back and sleep until noon. After lunch and a bit of school work, I sleep from roughly 3-5pm, followed by staring into space until ~6pm, when the baby and husband get home. Then it's putzing around until ~9pm when the baby falls asleep. Then comes the hard part from 9-11pm, where my brain really wants a rest, but my body flat-out refuses. :/

Anyway, I'm hoping that these days of rest will help my brain recover enough to function relatively normally again. I'm now being extra careful with how I move my head.

Since I have very limited brain time, it's extra important to figure out what I need to use it for. Today I spent several hours doing lesson prep for the classes that I'm not teaching this week.

Here's a few more things:
- Prep lesson for block 8's class
- Grade essays (goal: get 1 class done by the end of the weekend)
- Write some mcukb

There's also some errands around the house that I should probably do:
- Laundry
- Cardboard recycling
- Buy milk and butter, and figure out what I'm having for lunch for the next 2 days at home.
- Clean out my car

The rest of the time should be devoted to rest. All the other errands and stuff I can probably deal with next week????
