Man, I'm near the end of Week 9 and this food/appetite thing is just really frustrating.

I'm really glad that I don't vomit or anything!! Mostly it's appetite confusion, headaches, nausea, and a desire to claw my face off at around 4:30pm. Also basically hating smells and being REALLY finicky about temperature. Like, more than usual.

Mostly I didn't expect the appetite confusion to throw me off so much! To wit:

- There are some foods that I can eat when it's freshly made, but can't stand when it's reheated
- There are some foods that I can eat after it's made, but can't stand when it's *being* made
- There are some foods that I think I can eat, until it's right in front of me, and then suddenly I can't stand it.
- There are some foods that I don't think I want, until it's right in front of me, and then suddenly I'm totally okay with eating it.

This means that the foods that I (a) think I want to eat, (b) turns out I still want to eat it when it's in front of me, (c) can eat freshly made, (d) can tolerate the cooking process to.... is very short. Right now it basically consists of zucchini pancakes. It's also why I've been resorting to a lot of frozen stuff -- boiling pre-made wontons works.

For now.

Because here's the extra frustrating thing: the list of foods above changes by the week. For the last week, Subway Sandwiches was like, my standby -- something that I want to and can eat, something that's cheap and accessible. But I think tonight I hit a point where suddenly I don't want it anymore. :(

For about 10 days, breakfast sausage and egg sandwiches were perfect and amazing, and now I can't think about eating one. I think quiches are quickly going in that direction, too.

And like, in addition to getting up 4-5 times a night for peeing, I can't sleep when it's too cold on my face, but I also can't sleep when it's too hot on my back. And today I was trying to take my afternoon nap at around 4pm and it was just so hot that I got a headache. 2 nights ago I woke up hungry at around 4am. So last night I had an extra midnight snack. So instead of waking up hungry at 4am, I woke up with indigestion at 4am. I don't even *want* to know what's going to happen tonight. I've just spent the last 6 hours doing nothing because I'm too tired to do any of the things I wanted to, but also can't sleep properly due to headache and nausea.

Basically I'm really ready for Part 1: The Sickening to be over so that I can move onto Part 2: The Quickening.
