T Minus 3 days.... sort of

Finals are an odd time for the teacher -- you are in the eye of the storm. Before the final, you spend a lot of time making sure all that needs to be taught gets taught. But at around 3 days before Finals, everything turns into finals review, which means that you are no longer generating new content, and instead just staying calm for the students. Then there is the final itself, which is also eerily calm as you watch your students frenzy around you. But then, once the final is done and turned in, the work begins ... the grading, the writing of comments, the tallying of the final semester grade... And yet, at less than a week before Christmas, with a 2 week break ahead of you, it's oddly difficult to start the hustle, especially after that week of calm....

Quoting Jono, I've been going "Wrrrrn! Wrrrrn! Wrrrrrn!" since getting back from China. So it is time to relish that.
