Ack! Where as October gone?!

I've spent the last week grading, and the last 2 days writing comments. :/ I guess I should take that into account when I make my October goals, eh?

So I need to have a Shinsengumi costume to wear to school for Halloween, which is in ... 9 days. Oh dear. I think it's going to take me 2 evenings to make -- especially if I go for the complicated version with the 2 jackets and the green hakama. Plus I really want to make a Shinsengumi banner.

However, the priority for tomorrow, besides Chinese School grading and teaching, will be finishing my last class of comments, which should take me ... 2 hours. After that, if I have any brain left, I will do work on Matriarchy icons, which are also due on Halloween, but which I hope to get done by the middle of the week next week.

To complicate matters, I've been haunted by a horrible cough these last few weeks. The kind where once you start coughing you can't stop until you kinda-sorta-almost throw up. :( Yeah, not fun. I thought I'd defeated it, but it's now back. Boo.

Also, next Thursday is when my parents get home, after which we will discuss the possibility of me and Jono living in Shanghai for 6 months... which may happen sooner rather than later...
