Good weekend
Feb. 21st, 2011 11:41 pm- We're learning a fun song in taiko, full of yelling and loud/quiet interactions and fun beats.
- Friday night I got some time to prep for PTA, so the episode (which was Jono's spotlight episode) went off quite well.
- We had Chicken and Waffles with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
yeloson in Oakland. Had super yummy grits, greens, and mac-n-cheese. Plus, 3 chicken legs and half a strawberry waffle. Mmmmmm.
- Visited Jeremy on Sunday evening. Jeremy made yummy tuna steak and veggie stir-fry (using bok choy from my parents' garden). We played Dominion, talked, walked to the wharf, etc.
- Went walking around the Baylands with Jono and spotted lots of egrets and 1 snowy egret.
- Had yummy Indian food for lunch in downtown Palo Alto (we were just driving down Lytton, looking for Indian restaurants)
- Got to playtest Jianghu v.2.3, which of course needs a lot of work, but it was heartening to see Jono getting more the tropes (probably due to all the martial arts films I've been throwing his way)
- Read another chapter of Napoleon's Buttons. We're now 2.5 chapters from the end! :D
- Read the infamous Ryan North/Andrew Hussie exchange (which makes more sense now that I know more about Hussie and now that I'm reading both sides of the comic-update-text.
