Sep. 30th, 2007 09:50 amHm... spent last night drunk with dad, talking about very random things. Yay. I think it makes dad happy.
Friday night UCJAS ex-pat gathering was nice. The Bakumatsu anime continues to be excellent. squee-fully historical (Katsura looks like he's based off of a photograph, and even Parkes shows up and speaks English!), but also with snirkishly anime moments. There were guys with ridiculous mustaches and beards. AND A PROTO SNIPER RIFLE. And have I mentioned the obvious bish rivalry about to happen?
Saturday morning I got up waaaay early and went to a Classroom management workshop. Pretty cool. Then I bought school supplies! And then we scored a free dining table! (One of those "steal dad's minivan and pick up table from roommate's coworker" type shindigs)
Work has been ... going. I've finally started using http://xiaclassroom.pbwiki.com for things.
