Oct. 9th, 2004 09:58 pmSo yeah. I got pants today! a pair of jeans and a pair of black pants. Also got a russian-esque hat and a pinstriped vest. Total: $16. Yay thrift stores! Also had yummy lunch of dimsum from Ed's Potstiker House. (Yes, in fact that ghettolicious). Then we got back and Alexis made dinner for a sick (but still painting!) Jono. There was talk of renting American Splendor, but right now mostly feel like zoning out or something.
Called Joanne! And then went online and found a cheap calling card that gets me to the UK at 1 cent per minute. (pinonsale.com) Also checked out my domestic account, and am a bit miffed that mommy used $7 to call brother before 9/17. But she has her own calling card now, so whateverz.
Oh, watched Here is Greenwood yesterday, was very cute. Very pretty considering how little money they had. The voice actor radio shows were hilarious! For the DVD, they invited two of the old voice actors to do a radio show (b/c Greenwood started out as a radio show), and so in the first segment, they pretended to be all old and stuff and called each other Seki-ji and Mitsu-ji. They pretended deafness and memory loss, and called eachother "dirty diaper" and other such names. Then they tried to eat candy that made them young. But Seki-ji was in too much of a hurry and ate the wrong candy so he got older instead of younger. Then in the next segment, they tried to sound "gay", calling each other Seki-chan and Micchan and using really really cute speech (the characters in Greenwood were ambiguously gay). But anyways, much hilarity.
And then today I watched the first episode of Giant Robo which was quite awesome... the characters of traditional suikoden became the future's elite Interpol. :D
