(no subject)

I like this feeling of working on slightly long-term (week-length) self-instigated projects. Last week was the php thing. This week, it's an artsy thing. Next week, I think I'm going back to the website thing. I should also find time to read. But I don't feel any incentive right now... maybe in a little while. I should allot afternoons to more serious stuff and evenings to more "me" stuff.

I miss ethernet like hell. It's like, I have more contact with my family, but much much less with my friends, with the rest of the world, with things happening outside of 1440 Middlefield. On the other hand, I'm so used to IMing people that talking to them in real life, face to face, ends up being a little awkward at times. ^^;; ugh, I'm turning into a pasty-faced geek, without the geek knowledge.

On the other hand, I'm highly enjoying driving. I'm quite a dangerous driver, but I've found many others who don't seem to acknowledge the existence of traffic laws. And since I can't press the gas pedal to go more than 30 mph (sitting at a "safe" distance... poo daddy), I'm actually a lot less reckless than I'd be with the other car.
