Random things

the LJ-toolbar thing? They've upgraded it so that if you have a paid account, you can have a toolbar that checks your public entries every 15 minutes and scroll the entries in the toolbar. Spiffy! http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=lj_nifty&itemid=62607

Yay! Casually forgetting my hum and soc hw, I finally cleared up mail from the past 2 weeks. Go me!

Other happy things:
- am not feeling effects of 4 hrs of sleep at all. (why 4 hours? stayed up w/ intention to read Schmitt. ended up talking w/ Tim in lounge for 2 hours. Then read Schmitt)
- Dale at the DML complimented me on my doodles. (He's the cool guy who does all this stuff with 3dsm... and his drawings are awesome, too. ::envy::) I know I'm no artist, but glad to know they're not hideous.
- will get paid! Slight check hassle resolved. Sharon the timesheet lady is nice.
- was so absorbed in email maintainence that forgot to go downstairs for dinner. Oh well! Good food for me, then! (Instant Shiitake Rice!)
- had Nicky talk with roomie. Roomie appreciated comment that "geniuses are just socially accepted crazy people." Roomie nice when she bothers to converse. (really, we have a lot in common, just that she's actively social and I'm passively social)

Things coming up:
- Bio quiz, tomor.
- Weber reading, due Thurs
- Smart Museum student art show, Thurs. (4:30-10:00)
- Soc paper (Nicky vs. Mill on individualism) Fri 5pm

Since I'm gonna be busy all Thurs, and Friday from 10-4:30, I think I'll draft my soc paper tomor night. (maybe outline tonight?)
