Okay, this has proved to be quite an amusing day. I thought it would be a somewhat long day, because I had to go to writing seminar at 9, and run around hectically all afternoon until 7pm, missing breakfast and dinner. But so far: my Writing Seminar ended early. My Bio prof is snowed in in Philadelphia. The power went out as I was taking a shower (brief sensation of running through a park, at night, in the rain, w/o clothes). And I think this time is more severe because last time, I could still go online, but this time I can't. Class will be interesting. Even more interesting will be finding lunch. ::munches on emergency chips::
The Phone line's not out, so technically, I *can* go online. It's just be really slow.
4:25pm
Yay. Back from class. Appears that only Pierce was out for about an hour and a half. ::shrug:: oh well. So now I'm chillin' for a few minutes before heading out to SMAC. And then there's this Iraq debate that I want to go to. Hmm... can my life get any more boring?
Actually, what's scary how ... um... adaptable? I am to boring activities. I have so much fun doing meaningless tasks... there's no incentive for me to do anything big. Kinda like Dad, I think. Also kinda like what Mill said about active and reactive. Sometimes I wonder if I'm in college just because everyone else is, kinda the answer to the question, "What is fit for my position?" rather than "What would I like to do?"
Anyway, off for a 20 minute cuddle with Nietzsche (wow, that's a long string of consonants... henceforth he shall be called Nicky or Fred!) Yes, I'll be with Nicky every spare moment. Got lotsa reading!
