Even though I'd probably never use them, they still amuse me.

PERCUSSIVE MAINTENANCE - The fine art of whacking the crap out of an electronic device to get it to work again.

MOUSE POTATO: The on-line, wired generation's answer to the Couch Potato.

PRAIRIE DOGGING: When someone yells or drops something loudly in a cube farm, and people's heads pop up over the walls to see
what's going on. --

404 - Someone who's clueless. From the World Wide Web error message "404 Not Found," meaning that the requested document
could not be located. Used as in: "Don't bother asking him ...he's 404, man."

BLAMESTORMING - Sitting around in a group discussing why a deadline was missed or a project failed and who is responsible.

VULCAN NERVE PINCH - The taxing hand position required to reach all the appropriate keys for certain commands. For instance, the
warm re-boot for a Mac II computer involves simultaneously pressing the Control key, the Command key, the Return key and the
Power On key. Sometimes referred to as the "THREE-FINGERED SALUTE."

IRRITAINMENT - Entertainment and media spectacles that are annoying but you find yourself unable to stop watching them. The
O.J. trials, Ally McBeal, Monica Lewinsky, etc.

2) LotR!!! Need to skim book. (side note: there was long line outside, waiting to get into 4:10 showing, at 3:20. hmm... maybe need to revise schedule?

ah, finally took the time to read SnK 10.4 ::happily spazzing*::

I have decided that I like media that elegantly manipulate my emotions. Like the Wagnerish overdramatic LotR. Like the wonderfulness of SnK (Zechs piloting Epyon, talks about soldiers and war and belief and strength). I'd gladly spazz for those things. Very artfully done, good job.

*a concise method of saying: "flailing randomly, amid much squeaks and gushes and general confusion". Much like worshippers seeing the deity appear before them: flustered and energized and overjoyed.
