每个人都有点'痴'。这或许是人性的一个根本。机器等，不为'痴'所动，也不会有'痴'的意识。'痴'和'呆'不一样。'痴'是有意识的，聪明的。'痴'－有点傻，有点疯，有点孤独，也有点共同，有自己的痴，有别人的痴，更有团体/大家的痴。'痴'这个字的复杂性是否也代表人类对自己的复杂意识？

And that was my deep thought of the day. It's in Chinese, yes, but still. I think it's a deep thought. Or a corny thought. One of the two.

meh. Intended to read Metamorphosis, but instead fell asleep (Ovid was talking about how Pythagoras talked about being a vegetarian). Just woke up. Sleep=good. Am I getting too much? meh. The Common Core (my hum and soc classes) are such a weird and crazy concept. Every year, during the summer, the teachers of a department sit down and decide the core readings for the next year, and then each class/teacher then decides the supplementary readings. And the profs switch off from year to year, so my Hum prof isn't any better read in Ovid than we are, which is pretty cool, because she's basically on equal status.

posting 5 times in one day.... wow... a record high! Hmm... maybe because don't want to do hw, but feel need to. So instead spent some time thinking about Quatre (he doesn't drink! and he has to pray 5 times a day!), and looking at the Google Holiday Logos. It's so cool that they celebrate such different holidays. What's interesting is that Bastille Day is celebrated every year. hmm...
