Accomplishments of today.... little.

Have received Autumn bill for UChicago. $8000 for 10 weeks. Which is $800 per week. Crazy. >_<. Found out my student ID number.
Got enough sleep by taking long afternoon nap
Got PS to work by cheating and just dragging over the folder. (installing it properly evidently doesn't work)
Took more pics with digital camera.
Set up Winamp and chose appropriate skin. (Apill)
Read a chapter of History of Art. (if I'm a good little girl, I'll be halfway through in... 2 days. if I'm a bad little girl, I'll be halfway through in a week)
Oh, and finished Lolita last night/this morning. Such a tragic but cool story. Poor Lolita, poor Humbert. And after that deep first-person account that felt like a flow of consciousness that presented such a palpable main character, it was weirdly cool to realize that the author is actually sane and who doesn't have an obsessive love for little apricot-colored half Irish girls. hrrm....

Went walking with Jess today. And looked at pretty pictures of castles. Was fun, yes. Am contemplating changing LJ layout for the people who actually try to access my LJ page using Netscape. ::heaves self up from couch::

Lessee, what else did I do today? I signed up for the Experience Chicago thing, I did a few U-turns and reminded myself to be gentle when braking. Thought a little about Gundam Wing (Heero at the Hagia Sophia... hee), slept, and read a little of History of Art. Still have 20 more pages for today's quota. Oh, and helped mommy set up stuff at Carnegie. Attempted to sew padded baggie for digital camera. Mom says: horrible technique, good color. Therefore I must learn how to sew. Straight. Mommy can sew so well.

Okay, off to finish my quota.

oooo... I have mail! Will check online so that can acculmulate all mail on laptop. (It's weird to have switched over to laptop so early.... difficult to go online w/ laptop. Must disconnect and carry downstairs. bah. me lazy)

Trying hard to be not stressed about driving test tomorrow. Mommy is ever so nice to come back from work early to drive me over. Hope I remember ID...
