Nov. 1st, 2001 04:57 pmLast night was Halloween. we carved a pumpkin, but my brother didn't have a costume, so he didn't go trick or treating. Poor John. Dad was pretty happy, though. He never really liked Trick-or-Treating. "Buying a $10 costume and walking 2 hours just to get $4 worth of candy" He can be so pragmatic sometimes.
As for me, I headed upstairs, straightened up my personal essay, and sent it off via the Common App. I'm kinda worried that I didn't get any English teacher to check it over for me, but I also want to keep it as "Sushu" as possible. I don't want colleges accepting me because they think I can write, and then be dissappointed. Today: U of Chicago. Although I just found out that the CSS was due a month ago... oops.
