Been a bad girl
I should have spent more time reading HoA book yesterday, but instead read Mercedes Lackey's Lark&Wren. (okay book, found free online, soo...) I'm a sucker for online books. I'm a sucker for easy, relaxing reading that actually has a plot. So now I still have 100+ pgs to go on HoA. Silly silly me.
And of course, only got 10 pgs read today because of wonderful dinner party that usurped 6 hours of time (mostly spent watching the boys attempt to slaughter anything moving on screen.... PS2, woo.)
On the plus side, I'm beginning to get modern art. Well, Now I actually know that "I saw a number 5 in gold", or whatever it's called, is actually a fire engine dashing through the streets. Now that is just cool, man.
Muchly envy and happiness for Jen/Tochi's little tour of Pixar. I know she'll be working there in 4 years, probably in producing SoF.
College is sneaking up must faster than anticipated. Must start packing and last minute shopping come Monday. (y'know, shopping would be a *lot* more convenient if I can drive *by myself* to Walmart and get most of the odds and ends... oh well, I'm saving my parents a hefty amount of money by not getting car insurance. right?)
Chinese school tomorrow. Bah. One last time. I'll kinda miss it. (But won't miss my callouses from doing grunt work! huzzah!) Chatting with parents who actually pretend to listen is quite fun. If only I know how to talk to people of my own age...
