Just got home from Chinese concert. I love the Bay Area. All of the singers were most excellent, and being the oldies dork that I am, I recognized most of the songs. They even sang my favorite song! Wow.... such strong clear voices. Not pop music. songs adapted from folksongs. I can actually tell what they're singing! quite wonderful.
Yes, a bit ranty, but how many times do you get to hear *6* top-ranked Chinese singers in one concert? (and yes, there are ranks in China. They're all in the first rank) *ecstatic*
