Got back from returning Passage. Was funky book. Now will input some digital camera pictures. Have this funky idea of scanning some pretty Chinese art from book and printing it out to decorate dorm wall. But first, took pictures so can decide which ones to scan. Speaking of pretty art, now have much more respect for Middle Ages. The Rennaissance wasn't as big of an explosion of new thinking and revival as I thought. Much Gothic prettiness. Although the flamboyant Gothic stuff is a little overdoing it. Must go to Europe. Hmmm... gothic seems to mean something quite different nowadays.

Went a-drawing today with conejita. Have accomplished nothing. (still can't draw, and have not advanced in terms of skills. bah!) What else? scanned in the Chinese art pics. they're so pretty! What's cool is that since most of them are brushed in grayscale, I can just sort of minimize some of the yellow paper color and then print it from the family printer. There's a few colored ones, though. Hmm.... probably will attempt to print at Kinkos or at mommy's office. Realized that have not started on Renaissance (I'll never be able to spell that word), so will postpone printing until tomorrow. Will attempt to read 20 pgs today, as desire to sleep early, for did not have afternoon nap today.
p.s. Mommy is amazingly eloquent in Chinese.
p.p.s. Why is (accomplishing something)==(have no life) true?
