summercomfort | yes! internet does exist in Australia!

I'm officially here in Australia, the weather is like autumn in California, with some slight wind because we're by the harbor. The harbor itself is beautiful. Today we toured the Sydney Opera House and the Olympic stadiums. Lots of fun. We also went shopping, but didn't buy a lot. Internet here is expensive, it's 7.70 Australian Dollars for 15 minutes at this hotel, although cheaper at the mall we went to this afternoon. I got a phone card from the bank yesterday when they changed my money, so I might be calling back, etc. This email is just to tell you that I'm fine, the hotel is great (we have comforters as blankets, and all the hotel amenities. Only problem is that they don't supply shampoo. All the toilets have the choice of "half flush" and "normal flush".) So anyway, having lots of fun, talking to the other delagates and enjoying the beautiful australian accent of our guides. Lots of other PTP groups running around, too.

We have to get up early tomorrow for the Bridge Climb, but don't worry, it's just basically walking up the "hump" of the bridge--a whole bunch of stairs and a great view, (sorta like the statue of liberty, eh?)
