lists lists lists...

TO DO SUMMER LIST:

College stuff:
- plane tix
- money weirdness
- luggage
- ref materials

Summer stuff:
- art history
- Chinese books (weird cultural shmah)
- War and Peace (I *will* read the darn book!)
- Driving test
- Swimming (double check if I can still float in water and propel myself in a certain direction)

Misc:
- BBQ?
- Chinese School.
- extra life (ummm? yeah, that. for all my useless weird creative stuff... write, read, draw, play my xiao...)
- movies (got some... *ahem* DVDs in China...)
- Japanese? (prob won't have time...)

SUGGESTIONS WANTED!!!! Yeah, umm... instead of working, I'm thinking of doing some good solid reading and whatnot this summer. Are there any really awesome books that any of you (yeah, all of you out there) have read that you can suggest to me? fiction, nonfiction, philosophy, research papers, whatever. Pretty pretty please? You *do* want to save Sushu from getting lost in the library, right?
The guy next to me on the plane was reading something called The Fountainhead, which sounded interesting...

Oh, also, good movies suggestions are eagerly accepted.

Some suggestions:
1) Doomsday Book by Connie Willis
2) To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis
3) The Once and Future King by T.H. White

These are all very awesome books (Connie Willis is my most favorite author~she is awesome). I also plan to read The Agony and the Esctacy this summer, but I haven't started it yet, so I don't know if it's good or not. Hope that helps a little.^^
