trying to figure out the stomach pain stuff

whelp the pain happened again last night. :/

Trying to figure out a pattern here...

Sat Nov 18, 2-5am
had Ocha for lunch, spinach+yumm sauce and curry for dinner, plus some salami and sponge cake
[only thing that was different was the curry for dinner]

Mon Nov 20, 1-3am
had hotel breakfast (sausage, oatmeal, waffle), lunch = ??? (forget -- relatives in town), dinner = a lot of Korean BBQ
[thing that was different was the big dinner ~6pm]

Tues Nov 21, 10pm-2am
breakfast: Western omlette, some oatmeal, half a waffle, and some tea.
lunch I had a veggie bun and some boba (Verde)
5pm: leftover boba (started feeling bloated)
(did I have dinner??)
[nothing particularly different?]

Tues Dec 12, 10pm-3am
Breakfast: sausage and egg burrito, green tea with cream
During the day: Black tea with half and half, 4 oranges, 1 banana, Sunflower seeds
4pm: faculty meeting snacks (tomatoes, mozzarella, chicken and beef skewers, olives, blackberries, grapes)
Watermelon juice, kalua pork with cabbage, garlic fish
9pm: started feeling not great, had some miso soup
[thing that was different was the big faculty meeting snacking ~4pm]

Tues Dec 19, 11pm-2am
Breakfast: breakfast burrito, green tea with cream
During the day: doughnut, some cookies with powdered sugar and nuts, some white rabbits, some haw flakes, and a lot of sunflower seeds. Ate some chocolate when I got home
4pm: started feeling not great
6:30pm: 2x bean curd rolls, 1x chicken skewer, some veggies from mom (莴苣)
8pm: back started hurting
[nothing particularly different, maybe had a bit more doughnuts + cookies than usual]

Tues Dec 26, 3:30am-6am
During the day: 3 bananas, some fancy chocolate, a lot of cheapo hershey's chocolate, some nori
(accidentally forgot to have lunch)
Dinner: Indian food -- fish pakora, garlic naan, ginger cauliflower, 1 shrimp in malai sauce, saag lamb (yum), veg korma
[thing that was different was the Indian food for dinner ~7pm]

Sat Dec 30, 1:30am-4am
Breakfast: none, but ate 3 hershey's chocolates
Lunch (1pm): Ocha -- chicken, bok choy, egg, pickled veg, slightly spicy beef broth, some bites of beef, some rice
4pm: warm Earl Grey boba from Verde, fried squiddles
Dinner: noodles, pork chops, birthday cake (matcha strawberry with whipped cream)
[thing that was different was the birthday cake ~6pm]

Mon Jun 8, 5am-6:30am (moderate), 6pm-9:30pm (the usual amount)
Breakfast: breakfast burrito and green tea with cream
Lunch: tofu soup (mildly spicy), plus a bunch of banchan (bean sprouts, jap chae, broccoli)
1pm: boba from Green Bubble
4pm: sunflower seeds
7pm: half a paper cup cake (already been in moderate discomfort for 2 hours)

There's situations where 1 criteria fits but not another -- a few times I had more cream than usual, a few times more spice, and a few times more chocolate.... but nothing that applies across the board that I don't also eat on normal days.
One possibility is that it was too much food too fast after a period of not eating???
Another possibility is some sort of heavy starch/milk load that triggers gall bladder stuff?

Could it be high histamine foods on flare days? I'm seeing fermented foods, certain meats, and tomatoes at a glance. I have problems if I have too many high histamine foods too many days in a row. It's an accumulation not a single event.

[personal profile] synecdochic has a list of high histamine food in her MCAS writeup. https://synecdochic.dreamwidth.org/793547.html

I'm paying it forward. Without the internet I wouldn't have either my EDS or my MCAS diagnoses and would still be doing endless testing.
