yay the backpack looks much better now that it's encased in fabric. Heading out for school trip tomorrow, so I've been rushing all week to get cosplay done.

Some little tidbits for tomorrow morning: (probably 30 min total?)
- blue sash: cut, wrap, maybe paint
- backpack: maybe paint
- red sash: cut and sew
- brown "armor" on spouse's: link together on the sides, cut out the blue innards, maybe paint the front
- sew the green scarf to spouse's costume

Things that spouse will do while I'm gone:
- awning
- sign pole
- sales table
- purple bedroll
- possibly painting stuff
- the rest of his costume
- probably some leaf thing for kiddo's korok costume

nice-to-haves:
- little pouches or greens on the side?
- little flags?
