New Year Resolutions
okay, first, how did I do on last year's:
Post "What I'm Working on Wednesdays." I think I did it... twice? F.
Make a spreadsheet of potential comics publishers. nope didn't do it in my summer of fail. F.
Aim for 80% commitment so that you'll only be 100% committed. Didn't do that in the first half of the year (Wednesdays of Wonder coordination + trip planning, aiyah). Did it better this past semester (although Chinese School + 10th grade curriculum revamp). Next semester I'm teaching a Chinese History through Material Culture class so that's gonna be a lot of new prep.... but I'm trying! C+.
Have a good summer. lol fail. I wrote 1 fic and drew 2 comics, so... D.
Wow, this has been my worst resolutions year yet! XD
Okay, resolutions for 2023:
Write 2 fics. If I could do 1 over winter break, 2 for the whole year seems possible?!
Lose 7 lbs. That's a reasonable number, right? It's less than 10!
Work the anti-hustle, claw back some time. If I want to have things like relaxation time or creative time or time with spouse, that needs to start by having TIME. Burnout sucks. Downtime will build emotional fortitude!

And clawing back some time to relax and work on your own creative projects seems like a worthy project, too.

💪 Let's hope!
