Summer is so close I can taste it! Child is off to summer camp (Chinese-English bilingual, so hopefully she'll get some Chinese back!), so from 9am-3pm (okay lbr more like 9:30am-2:30pm) I'm home! Free!!!
Well, there's still grading and narratives and other school work this week, but I think I'm at a pretty good place overall.
Which is why I can't stop thinking about what I wanna do this summer!
- home fixups:
--- replace the lumpy futon? (visit ikea to check out their modular couch system)
--- move things around
------ get rid of some of the junk in the downstairs corner bookshelf, in the "to donate" pile and in Child's closet
------ clear up the junk in front of TV and in the miscellaneous "panicked tidying" bags
------ consolidate DVDs to DVD shelf, put craft stuff there in the TV console for ease of access
------ move comics stuff downstairs to Child's room (free up that space for Legos)
------ move books to downstairs bookshelf or to box and put in corner of bedroom
------ move adult craft stuff from corner of bedroom to shelves next to bed
------ fold futon mattress into 1/3rd, bag and put against the wall in Lego room
--- resume the process of trying to get carport charging (parents' backup car just died, but I don't wanna get a second car unless it's mostly EV)
- comic ambitions:
--- read Ngai's book about Tape v Hurley, and also draw comic about Tape v Hurley
--- draw the fangly fish comic
--- draw July 4th comic
--- make a spreadsheet, mutter a lot
- fandom ambitions:
--- finish wips!
--- STS!
- misc
--- Chinese School stuff
