whelp, the last month... happened. I'm trying to remember what I did but it mostly just felt like work, work and more work, with very little time or brainspace for anything else. Well, except when my brain refused to do work, and I putzed around with random fic wips.

Since Jan 1st, in addition to the normal work stuff I:
- had to stay home and teach from home due to a positive COVID test
- wrote and submitted my evals
- did 2 activity sessions
- wrote a 30 page WASC report
- taught 2 weeks of Sunday Chinese school
- got Miss Rutabaga signed up for summer

Egh.

Hopefully I'll finally have a "normal" Sunday with a few hours to myself this weekend and next weekend.

But also! This coming week is a week-long break! We were originally going to Chicago, but the pipes broke at MIL's place, so we've pivoted last minute to some local museums plus my first ever trip to Tahoe (!!). I've resisted going there for 30+ years but I guess it's the closest place where there's snow and Miss Rutabaga reaaaaally wants to see snow.


Saturday
- morning: grade 9th essays (2 hrs)
- evening: pick at one of the fic wips

Sunday
- morning: finish grading 9th essays (2 hrs)
- afternoon: start on 10th essays (3 hrs)
- evening: pick at one of the fic wips

Monday
- morning: work on 10th essays (2 hrs)
- afternoon: maybe go for a hike? boating on Shoreline?
- evening: pick at one of the fic wips

Tuesday (J works)
- Zoo

Wednesday
- Drive to Tahoe

Thursday
- Drive back from Tahoe
- Comickers at night

Friday (J works)
