summercomfort | (no subject)

Last weekend (wow was it only last weekend?) I busted my butt and got the comics anthology done and sent to the printers by Sept 20th, and since then I've been floating a bit, wanting to start a new project but also wanting to rest on my laurels a bit. So I guess that was last week? I started a knitting project and also a crochet project. The crochet project is actually almost done -- it's a small yellow poncho for Miss Rutabaga, and it needs just one more row, I think. I am actually quite pleased with it. The knitting ... less so. But it keeps me distracted during work meetings, which is really the intent. OMG crochet is sooooo fast compared to knitting. I also posted some wip snippets on tumblr, so I guess that's *some* creative work. In all, I'm just glad that I've gotten my grading of the 10th grade essays done.

So I guess this week is going to remain a motley of tasks, though hopefully I will regain more focus

- tomorrow I gotta go buy more jerky, and tomorrow night is the 9th grade Zoom dinner, bleh. But that ends by 9pm, so after that I can maybe have a smol evening of working on fanfic wips
- (oh remember to do payroll tomorrow night)

- Wednesday and Thursday night I should focus on getting Chinese School taxes done. (And probably check processing, etc)

- Maybe I can finish a wip over the weekend?
