aaaaa summer is almost over!!
This weekend is my last hurrah lol. I've managed to get 2 of 10 pages of the Wong Kim Ark comic inked, which is ... not too bad? I can probably get the rest of it done in the next 2 weeks??? Then put the anthology together.... mebbe? If I get everything done by Sept 10, then I should be able to get it printed and back by Oct 15....
I've also been slowly chipping away at project Organize The Clutter, and I think we've made some good progress. There's now a 2 tier tray by my bed for my various devices. There's a 3 tier cart by the futon for my downstairs clutter, and I'm working on creating a dedicated tool space. Next up is moving some of the Good Will stuff into the space vacated by the tools, and moving some board games into the under-utilized shelf area.
And we're going camping Sunday-Monday! :D!!
pack for camping:
- sleeping bags
- air mattresses and air pumps
- camping boxes (cookery, lights, etc. Including the headlamps currently in the car!)
- 2 tents
- smol chair, plus 1 more chair should suffice?
- food
- the new construction set?
- the tall light!
- battery pack?
- ipad, rutabaga books and entertainment
Org:
- First move the crappy board games from board game shelf to bottom of corner shelf
- Then move Rutabaga second tier board games from tool shelf to board game shelf
- Then move the rest of the tech stuff from corner shelf to tool shelf
- Then move mail stuff to corner shelf, etc
use last drawer set for
- everyday tools, like scissors, plus sharpies
- installation detritus (spare screws, instructions, etc)
need a good new/old battery system (good batteries on top of drawer, bad batters in tupperware?
need to tidy up the box/area in front of the TV
shelf space for:
- small bin of flash drives and external CD player
- old laptops and devices
- larger power banks
