I'm in Chicago!
Visiting the in-laws!
- plane flight was less horrible than expected. Miss Rutabaga was bored but was able to deal with it
- yes had to remember how food works with the in-laws
- I have to attend a summer institute on Zoom from 10am-4pm Pacific time, which is noon-6pm Central time. It's ... all right. Nothing too new or revolutionary, and some of the homework is pretty tedious, but it's nice to be the student for once.
- The light in the room wakes me up at 5am Central time, which is 3am Pacific time :/ so my sleep schedule is completely wonked
- I learned to crochet! (MIL asked me if I could teach SIL, and I was like "I don't know how to but I can probably read this book you have and figure it out). It's pretty fun.
