My County's COVID stats
Oh yay it seems like COVID cases are going back down! Here are 4 charts from our county:
Case Rate:
The case rate disparities between the various races is pretty stark :/
(Also is there really more Asian folk in our county than White? :O! )
Death Rate:
What's interesting to me is that despite the Latinx disparity in case rates, the death rate is not also doubled? Does that mean it's the younger, working age people who are getting COVID?
And also the gender balance in the death rate is not as skewed towards men as it was in Mar/Apr of last year. (But yes please vaccinate age 60+ people omg)
