8 more days

I'm getting ever closer to Being Done with the school year!!!
Yesterday I finished grading my 9th graders' essays and doing 10 minute defenses for each of them. Monday night I mailed out all of the checks for Chinese School. This morning was the last advisory class, and tomorrow is just 3 school meetings. My brain is in that "I don't wanna work anymore, I deserve a break" mode, so on the one hand, I'm taking that rest, but also, I know that the best way to get my brain to the finish line is to do some planning and listing.

Things left to do by next Friday and when I can find time to do them:
- today:
---> draw up the template for narratives and export 9th grade templates during DS 9. Get the docs set up, copy over feedback from the defenses.
---> start grading 10th if possible

- Friday and Saturday:
---> grade Chinese School things. Goal: get the Chinese School class stuff squared away by Saturday night
---> fix 7(2) back cover
---> send out teacher email to remind folks to fill out survey

- Sunday:
---> afternoon: grade 10th grade essays: ~4 hours
---> Sunday night during TV time: generate 10th grade templates, start uploading

- Mon-Wed: conferences + narratives
- Thurs-Fri: finish narratives, DONE!
